Revised response curves for the Phase 3 IRC Spectroscopic data
[Last update: 1 Mar 2011]We are very sorry to report that we found a serious bug in the present response curves for IRC spectroscopy of phase 3 observations. The uncertainties in the response were erroneously estimated by 30% lower than it should be. This affects both NG and NP spectroscopy. We hope that these will not seriously affect your research results.
Revised RSRF (Relative Spectral Response Function) for the phase 3 IRC spectroscopic mode observation data is provided to general users.
The RSRF is investigated and created by Takashi Shimonishi at the University of Tokyo.

- Running the pipeline
These RSRFs were derived based on results of standard stars reduced with the standard toolkit with the parameters of
/no_slit_flat
andnsum= 5--8
. No other specific options were used. The results were not very sensitive to the method of the background sky subtraction at least for the standard stars. - Plot spectra
You can analyze your data from
